MANILA, Philippines – Heart Evangelista said that she is very happy for ex-boyfriend John Prats, who is set to marry actress and model Isabel Oli this year.
"Happy din ako para kay John [Prats]. Actually when they were starting together may soap kami ni Isabel Oli. And kinukuwento niya sa akin and sabi ko 'O bagay nga kayo ni John Prats and nung na-engage sila, I was so happy for her as well," Heart said during the press conference for Uncle Tetsu cheesecake, Monday, February 2.
(I'm happy for John. Actually, when they were starting together, Isabel and I were doing a soap. She was talking to me about it, and I said 'You guys are a good match,' and when they got engaged, I wsas happy for her as well.)
John proposed to Isabel in front of their friends and family in a big surprise in Eastwood last September.
Last August, Senator Chiz Escudero proposed to Heart in Sorsogon. The proposal was witnessed by his family and Heart's closest friends. The couple will wed in Balesin Island, Quezon on February 15, one day after the actress' birthday. A teaser of their pre-wedding video was released last week.
Heart and John starred in the youth oriented show G-Mik in the late 90s. They also starred together in My First Romance. They dated back in 2002.
